Foreign Language Game Tester @ blizzard

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for intelligent and highly motivated multilingual Game Testers to help test our upcoming computer games in French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Job duties include bug documentation, working closely with a team of developers and hours upon hours of game playing. An ideal candidate is a hardcore gamer who is good at finding bugs and even better at describing the bugs in an organized and clear fashion. Fluency (both spoken and written) in Spanish, French or Mandarin Chinese is required for the position. For Mandarin Chinese, applicants must be fluent in reading/writing simplified Chinese.

Game Testers MUST be able to work full-time at our Headquarters facility in Irvine, California. Applicants must also be available to work extended hours and weekends to meet project deadlines. This is an hourly, temporary, full-time, entry-level position with the possibility of advancement to a regular full time position. Sorry, but there are no part-time or internship-level positions open at this time.

Requirements

• Passion for computer games
• Fluency in French, Mandarin Chinese or Spanish
• Highly motivated
• Must be willing to work extended hours.
• Must be able to follow directions
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong work ethic
• Detail oriented
• Good analytic skills
• Must have competency in native language Operating Systems (French, Spanish or Chinese)
